About the role
This LPN Medication Nurse role offers an opportunity to provide safe, accurate nursing care for seniors through medication administration, health monitoring, and precise documentation.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
- Maintain accurate records in MAR/TAR and support care plan updates
- Monitor residents for symptoms, adverse reactions, and physical or emotional changes
- Ensure medication carts are well-maintained, conduct narcotic counts, and adhere to compliance standards
- Assess health changes early, prevent medication errors, and safeguard resident safety
Qualifications
- An active LPN license
- CPR and First Aid certification
- PREFERRED: Experience in senior care or medication administration
