About the role
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Med Surg / Medical 7W, providing patient care under supervision or the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Coordinate with other departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Perform duties aligned with organizational standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in Missouri and compliance with State Board requirements
- New graduates and experienced LPNs are welcome
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- LPN-IV certification required within 3 months or as specified
Physical Skills
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, patient lifting/turning with assistance
- Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs.
