LPN / Medical Assistant III - Plastic Surgery

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry in medical records
• Measure and record vital signs
• Collect demographics and medical information, including review of medication lists
• Prepare patients for examination
• Clean rooms and equipment, and stock supplies
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Perform specific competencies as directed by the department

Requirements

• Graduate of a state board-accredited practical nursing program
• Current License Practical Nurse or Graduate Practical Nurse active in the state of Missouri

Qualifications

• Previous nursing experience, particularly in outpatient or ambulatory clinic settings (preferred)
• IV certification in the State of Missouri (preferred)

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Carry out delegated tasks as directed by supervisors or with provider oversight
• Proficient computer skills
