LPN/Medical Assistant/EMT, ENT Clinic
About the role
Park Nicollet is seeking LPNs, Medical Assistants, and EMTs to join their ENT team. This role involves providing care for patients, including escorting them to exam rooms, preparing and administering medications, performing procedures, and ensuring the standard rooming process is completed.
Responsibilities
- Escorting patients to exam rooms and documenting necessary visit information and vitals.
- Preparing and administering medications and immunizations as directed.
- Performing and assisting with procedures and treatments, such as administering, ear lavage, EKG’s, and bladder scans.
- Maintaining knowledge of and complying with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements
- BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, required and maintained.
- One of the following:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing and maintain a current state license.
- Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES.
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Graduate of an accredited EMT program and hold a current MN EMT License.
- One or more years of healthcare experience is preferred (preferably in a related field).
Preferred Qualifications
Desirable experience in a related field of medicine.
