About the role

Park Nicollet is seeking LPNs and Medical Assistants to join their Dermatology team. This role offers a unique blend of collaboration and work-life balance, with a supportive and team-centered culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provides practical nursing care to patients in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards, and PNHS policy.
  • Ensures safe and effective nursing care by creating a safe, therapeutic environment and advocating for the best interests of individual patients.
  • Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skills and flexibility, while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Maintain a current state license of practical nursing.
  • Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained.
  • On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

Medical Assistant (MA)

  • Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)” or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
  • Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained.
  • On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

Qualifications

  • Open to LPNs or MAs.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to work in a team environment are essential.
