About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The LPN collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/families/significant others.

Accountability & compliance

The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
