About the role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will deliver care and services to residents by identifying resident needs, implementing prescribed interventions, and evaluating outcomes and conditions. This position performs personal care for residents as needed and communicates and collaborates with other members of the care team to resolve resident care problems, enhance care delivery, and participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.

PRN pay rate: $34/hr.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and services to residents through the identification of resident needs and implementation of prescribed interventions.
• Evaluate resident outcomes and conditions.
• Perform personal care for residents as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with other members of the care team to resolve resident care problems and enhance care delivery.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Graduation from a School of Nursing for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications.
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to become certified.
• Food handlers certification, where required.
• Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse is preferred.
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.

Pay

Pay range: USD $27.57 - USD $34.47 per hour.
