About the role
This position is designed for new graduate or less experienced Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVNs) to gain hands-on clinical experience through a specialized training program.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor outcomes, and document progress
- Respond to changes in patient condition, reporting to supervisors or physicians
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
- Ensure a safe environment by monitoring equipment and adhering to universal precautions
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active LPN/LVN license
- Current CPR certification
- PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
