LPN/LVN, Acute Rehab - Full Time Nights

About the role

This LPN/LVN opportunity is a full-time position on our Acute Rehab Unit and offers full time benefits and a convenient night shift schedule. This position is for our Rehab Hospital located in Northwest Reno. We are looking for a dynamic Rehab Nurse that will help provide safe and compassionate care to our patients in the acute rehab environment. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to revise plan of care as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
• Formulates a teaching plan based on identified patient learning needs and evaluates.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the skills necessary to provide age appropriate care to the patient population served.
• Able to interpret data about the patient’s status in order to identify each patient’s age specific needs and provide care needed by the patient group.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN
• Current Nevada nursing license
• Must have current BLS certificate
• Current IV Certification required
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care
