LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor

About the role

As an LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing our nursing team and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of LPNs and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure that our high standards of care are met
• Assisting with the development and implementation of patient care plans
• Coinciding care with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians and therapists
• Monitoring patient progress and making adjustments to care plans as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and reports
• Participating in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce readmissions

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of New York
• Prior experience as an LPN, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs)
