LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Plastic Surgery

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide primary clinical support in outpatient clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient medical history and vital signs
• Prepare patients for examinations
• Assist providers with diagnostic procedures and minor surgeries
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
• Administer medications and vaccines
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment
• Ensure continuity and quality of care by following up on diagnostic tests
• Facilitate effective patient-provider communication

Requirements

• Graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing

Skills

• Ability to provide direct clinical care under provider direction
• Prioritize patient needs
• Maintain asepsis
• Work efficiently in a clinical environment
