LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics

About the role

Provides primary clinical support in outpatient settings as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient history, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist providers with procedures, diagnostic tests, and minor surgical interventions.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Administer medications and vaccines, including skin testing, under provider supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring infection control standards.
• Follow up on diagnostic testing and ensure proper filing in medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients and providers to facilitate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing specialty training program.
• New and experienced LPNs are welcome.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, team player, committed to safety and quality care.
