LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Interventional Radiology

About the role

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing essential patient care in a pre-op setting, with opportunities for independent work and team support. Your role includes preparing and educating patients, documenting medical histories, vital signs, and assisting providers with clinical procedures, minor surgeries, and diagnostic tests. You will collect lab specimens, administer medications and vaccines, and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment. The position requires 3-5 years of LPN experience, preferably in procedural or inpatient care, and involves full-time hours with flexible days.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and assist with examinations.
• Provide direct clinical support, assist with diagnostic procedures, and prepare specimens.
• Communicate with patients, respond to questions, and ensure timely provider updates.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and perform skin testing under supervision.
• Maintain clinical environment, ensuring asepsis and readiness of instruments and rooms.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• 3-5 years of LPN experience in procedural or inpatient care preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
