LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - General Surgery

Role Overview: This position supports outpatient clinical teams as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), providing primary care assistance in a team-oriented ambulatory environment. Key Responsibilities: Obtain and document patient medical history, vital signs, and assist in examinations.Provide direct clinical care under provider supervision, including assisting with minor procedures and diagnostic tests.Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.Administer medications, vaccines, and perform skin testing as scoped.Maintain a clean, organized treatment environment, ensuring asepsis and readiness of instruments.Communicate with patients, respond to inquiries, and document interactions to support provider efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing is required.Ability to provide care across specific age groups in assigned clinical areas.Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.Experience or willingness to learn in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
