LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Float

Role Overview: Provides primary clinical support in an ambulatory care setting, assisting with patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and documentation. Ensures a clean environment, prepares patients for examinations, and supports provider-led procedures. Administers medications and vaccines, collects specimens, and responds to patient inquiries to promote efficient and quality care. Key Responsibilities: Obtain and document patient history, vital signs, and prepare patients for exams.Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic tests.Collect and prepare laboratory specimens accurately.Communicate with patients and prioritize provider needs.Administer medications, vaccines, and skin tests within scope of practice.Maintain examination rooms, ensuring asepsis and readiness of instruments. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required).Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment and follow policies.Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
