About the role
We are hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at RHA Health Services. This role is located at a Facility Based Crisis Center in Forsyth and offers a full-time position with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Performs nursing assessments and interventions with medications oversight and administration as needed.
- Reports client’s social, psychological and physical behavior as indicated.
- Implements and ensures compliance with standards of nursing practice that promote optimal health care delivery and meet regulatory requirements.
- Implements policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance with confidentiality regulations, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), national accreditation agency and Continuous Quality Improvement, attending applicable meetings as necessary.
- Uses state guidelines, Quality Assurance Plan and Client Rights Policy, ensuring that clinical operations comply with state regulations and update plans and policies as necessary.
- Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, making recommendations for hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, motivating, disciplining and promoting team performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements
- Active and current LPN licensure in state of employment.
- 2 years’ experience as a nurse working with behavioral health clients, preferred.
- Working knowledge of psychoactive substance abuse, dependency and the principles and techniques based on best practices, commitment to the use of evidence based treatment and preventative methods.
- Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required.
Qualifications
- Pre-employment screening: Complete criminal background check, name checked in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities).
- Drug testing.
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
- Proof of employment history or references (if required).
- Positions that require driving: Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.

Schedule
- Multiple Shifts Available: 12-hour shifts
- 1st Shift: 7 A - 7 P
- PRN opportunities
- Shift Differential Available: 10% Weekday Nights, 10% Weekend Days, 15% Weekend Nights
