Position Overview

The LPN will be responsible for driving their car to visit patients, performing routine care, and participating with the care team in the plan of care for each client. Our clients begin receiving care from us on the day after they are discharged from the hospital and in the safety and security of their own homes. Your schedule is weekdays only and working between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We provide excellent training and onboarding so that you feel confident in the field. Most full-time LPNs are typically done with their 6 visits by 3:00 p.m.!

LPN Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients throughout their treatment, closely following the RN's unique plan of care for each patient.
  • Ensure that patients take their medication.
  • All basic nursing care (take vitals, perform blood draws, clean wounds, change bandages, etc.).
  • Educate clients and their caregivers at home about their condition, empowering caregiver with education too.
  • submit notes same day as visit, every single time. Easy to do right there in patient's home.

LPN Requirements

  • Completed LPN license program.
  • Active Maryland License.
  • Desire to work M-F business hours only.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized.
  • Ability to take instructions from doctors and nurses.
  • Experience with wound care, drawing blood for labs, and ostomy care.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Driver’s License and own car with auto insurance.
  • Current CPR certification/BLS.
