LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse
Job Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Skilled Nursing Facility regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our facility in Minneapolis, MN - Jones-Harrison.
- Nurse Schedule: Casual hours. Minimum of 3 shifts per month. Flexible schedule: Day shift, Evening shift, Night shift.

Responsibilities
- Provides skilled nursing care such as: implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operating medical equipment, and charting practices.
- Lifts and transfers residents as needed, initiates emergency treatment as needed.
- Makes observations and updates RN with current resident health status, communicates changes in resident conditions to relevant individuals.
- May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements, and care plans.
Requirements
- MN LPN licensure.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers (3 week grace period for BLS).
- Able to work independently, good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Preferred previous healthcare experience.
- Comfortable using computers, handheld devices, phones, and fax machines.
Skills
- Skilled in providing nursing care.
- Ability to lift and transfer residents.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
This position provides one flat hourly rate, with regular reviews to ensure competitiveness with the market. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.
