LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Overview Provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, operating within the scope of license.Assist in patient assessments and ensure patient well-being.Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care post-discharge, holistic health, available resources, and follow-up care. Qualifications And Skills Current or eligible licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent.BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire, via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
