LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Overview Provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, working within scope of license.Assist in patient assessments and ensure patient well-being.Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.Educate patients and families on treatment plans, self-care, resources, and follow-up care. Qualifications And Skills Current or eligible licensing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire, from American Heart Association or Red Cross.Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent.
