LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
About the role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of our residents and staff. Each day, our nurses utilize their nursing skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of the residents, leading to a rewarding sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff
- Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents
- Nurse ratios of 14-15 residents to 1 nurse during 1st and 2nd shifts, and 28-30 to one nurse during 3rd shift
- Work in a supportive and cozy environment with more time for personal interactions and thoughtful care
Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana
- Proficient medication management skills
- Able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff
