About the role
Assist in providing comprehensive nursing care to residents in assisted living facilities. Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with daily activities, and monitoring health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as per doctor’s orders
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily activities
- Maintain cleanliness and order in resident rooms
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health conditions
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- At least one year of related healthcare experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Skills
- Proficient in using medical equipment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures
