LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Advanced Acute Care

Role Overview: This position is for a full-time Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, promoting safety and patient satisfaction.Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.Reinforce patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.Provide direct care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures per policies.Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and modify plans accordingly.Collaborate with physicians and staff to proactively meet patient needs.Mentor and precept new staff and students, contributing to team development.Participate in unit decision-making and uphold organizational policies and standards. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing is required, with appropriate scope of practice and unit standards met. Strong communication, teamwork, and compassionate care skills are essential.
