(LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse $5000 sign-on bonus!

Summary/Objective

The (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse provides supervision of staff and safeguards the health, safety, and welfare of all Residents under their care by following applicable laws, regulations, and established nursing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents/residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
• Supervises G.N.A’s and all subordinate staff, checking their work to ensure assignments have been completed.
• Administers all parenteral, intramuscular, and sub-cutaneous injections.
• Licensure for administering medications within the scope of practice of the L.P.N.
• Maintains a current report of narcotics received and used.
• Reviews daily the documentation of the dispensing of the controlled substances and narcotics.
• Carries out direct contemporaneous charting in your shift.
• Carries out detailed monthly evaluations of each Resident that reflect his/her condition and progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered with the state as an LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse.
