About the role

Vantage Care of Wakefield is expanding and seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team. We offer flexible schedules including full-time, part-time, and per diem positions across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to ill, injured, or convalescing patients
• Administer basic patient care and treatments
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses to administer prescribed medications
• Educate and inform patients about their medical treatments and care plans
• Build strong rapport with patients to foster trust and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare team members

Requirements

• Previous experience in nursing or a healthcare-related field
• Familiarity with medical equipment and procedures
• Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well as part of a collaborative healthcare team
