LPN- Homecare Private Duty

Starting pay $25.50 per hour, with pay commensurate with experience. External applicants are eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, half paid on the first check and half after 18 months. The bonus is prorated based on FTE.

Schedule

Flexible schedule with open days and times. Minimum of 16 hours per week. Positions available in the following areas: Columbus (zip codes 43205, 43228, 43231), Grove City, Galloway, Granville, Hilliard, Powell, Reynoldsburg, and Upper Arlington. Both full-time and part-time roles are offered.

Responsibilities

  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice providers.
  • Monitors patients' vital signs and records their medical histories.
  • Assists with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provides emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of practical or vocational nursing.
  • Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • CPR certification.

  • Working knowledge of the concept of family-centered care.
  • Ability to function collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Problem-solving, organization, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to react appropriately to crisis situations.

Qualifications

  • One year of experience in a pediatric care setting, preferred.
  • One year of home health experience, preferred.
