Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a patient in their home in the Stroudsburg, PA area. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to deliver individualized care in a comfortable home setting while building strong relationships with your patient and their family.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the physician's orders and plan of care
- Monitor and assess patient health status
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Measure and document vital signs and patient progress
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Educate patients and family members regarding care and health management
- Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are maintained
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team to provide quality care
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently in a home care environment
- Previous private duty, home health, or pediatric nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to meet all Maxim Healthcare onboarding and compliance requirements
