About the role
Provide direct patient care within the LPN scope of practice, under RN or manager supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patient needs
- Perform routine nursing procedures
- Coordinate care with team members
- Document care accurately
- Support patient and caregiver education on self-care
- Report safety concerns
- Participate in team conferences
- Maintain clear communication channels
- Attend training and onboarding sessions
- Stay current with clinical knowledge and best practices
- Participate in staff education initiatives
- Adhere to organizational policies
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Nursing certification
- Valid LPN license
- BLS certification
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
- Georgia driver’s license and private vehicle insurance (preferred)
Skills
- Strong clinical and patient assessment skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Windows-based software and home health tools
