Role Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, working under RN or manager supervision. The LPN documents care activities accurately, participates in team conferences, and adheres to regulatory guidelines. They also contribute to staff education, attend in-services, and assist in orienting new employees. The role involves participating in call rotation and weekend visits, serving as a preceptor, and supporting special projects to ensure high-quality care. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma and Nursing CertificateLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certificationMinimum 1 year experience in medical/surgical nursing preferredStrong assessment, clinical, organizational, and communication skillsProficiency with computer software, email, and documentation toolsPositive leadership and problem-solving abilities
