LPN Gastroenterology

Our gastroenterology practice works with a dedicated team of physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver top-notch patient care. Our physicians perform outpatient procedures in multiple endoscopy spaces. The practice includes multiple subspecialty teams ensuring comprehensive treatment. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care under the direction of the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician and in collaboration with the health care team.
• Inform patients and families about treatments, medications, equipment, and related activities in coordination with the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician.
• Document care provided via computer/written patient record consistent with guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Graduate of an approved Nursing Program (Required).
• MI Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) (Required).
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required within 90 days).
