About the role
Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality senior housing and and services in a Christian environment as a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care to residents of all ages in a long-term care setting.
- Work under supervision of RNs, advanced practice providers, or physicians.
- Assess residents, administer medications and treatments, and document care activities.
- Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond to emergent situations.
- Support resident education, develop self-care programs, and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ensure residents' health, comfort, and safety.
- Perform testing, evaluate data, and provide technical support as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with an LPN license.
- Preferred associate degree in practical nursing.
- Possess IV therapy/management skills if required by state.
- Maintain unencumbered LPN licensure and meet ongoing competency and CEU requirements.
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team, communicate clearly, and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in long-term care and resident education is advantageous.
