Responsibilities
- Makes daily rounds on the unit in order to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status of nursing residents
- Provides comprehensive oversight to unit staff to assure nursing care is provided according to physician's orders
- Analyzes and evaluates nursing staff needs as well as determines staffing requirements
- Assesses the needs of each resident, and implements the Resident Interim Care Plan
- Performs generalized Charge Nurse duties
Requirements
- Valid and Active Nursing License in NJ
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
