LPN, Float - Family Medicine Clinic - Part Time

About the role

The Family Medicine Clinics are looking for a nurse to join their team in a float role! This role will work with various age groups and diagnoses, utilizing team nursing with a dependable and cohesive group. Apply your scope of practice to its fullest with the vast amount of skills utilized with the populations we serve.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Ensure the health, comfort and safety of patients.
• Document a thorough medical history from patient.
• Contribute to the assessment of patients and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
• Counsel patients and family members, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• If IV therapy/management skills are required: graduation from a Board‑approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum, or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing board and/or possess multi‑state licensure privileges.
• Obtain and subsequently maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.

Pay

Salary range: $22.50 – $29.50 per hour. Float wage incentive available. Experience is credited toward the wage range.

Schedule

Part‑time, 20 hours per week. Day shifts, 8‑hour shifts, Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm. No weekends or holidays.
