Responsibilities

- Collect, document and report patient data and observations. - Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions. - Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions. - Perform routine laboratory tests. - Educate patients and family members.

Requirements

- Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program - Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Preferred qualifications

- 1 year of patient care experience - 1-2 years of acute care/variety of patient experience

Physical Requirements

- Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand coordination. - Involves extensive standing and walking. - Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. - Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. - Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Pay Range

- Minimum hourly: $23.25 - Maximum hourly: $33.50
