About the role
Provide comprehensive care to adult patients with mental health issues in a behavioral health unit.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Administer treatments such as catheterizations and suctioning
- Monitor and report patient conditions
- Prepare and serve meals
- Support recreational activities
- Ensure patient safety through proper use of restraints and protective mechanisms
- Administer medications
- Follow safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania LPN license
- CPR certification
- Completion of required training courses
