LPN-Endoscopy

Responsibilities

• Takes blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
• Aids patients as needed or as directed by the physician
• Assists with minor surgical procedures
• Keeps medical records according to established procedures and forms
• Stocks rooms with necessary medical supplies
• Prepares sterilization as required
• Performs other duties related to the business operations of the medical practice as assigned

Requirements

• Completed accredited program meeting nationally accepted standards
• Current LPN license in the State of Ohio
• CPR certification
• Experience in a medical environment
• Willingness to follow orders and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to communicate and relate well with office staff, ancillary departments, and the public
• Ability to work under time constraints, multitask, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include being on call during the week and every 3rd weekend
• Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital
• Flexible scheduling is preferred (some weeks 3 days while others may need 4 days)
• Training will be provided in areas such as pre-op, post-op, GI tech, and scope washing
