About the role

Concord Medical Center, a division of Summit Medical Group, is seeking an experienced LPN, CMA, or RMA to join their practice in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and holter monitors.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares them for examination or procedure according to physician preferences.
• Exhibits sound clinical skills in assisting physicians with procedures, administering medication, and providing patient education.
• Handles phone calls regarding patient needs promptly, using sound clinical judgment.
• Maintains stocked, neat, and clean examination rooms and common work areas daily.
• Adheres to established policies and procedures, including OSHA guidelines.
• Performs clerical duties to support physician workflow, including contacting patients regarding test results or other relevant matters.
• Schedules office and outpatient appointments efficiently.
• Pulls and prepares patient records for physician review as needed.
• Performs duties professionally and courteously, following established policies and procedures.
• Completes additional duties as assigned by supervisors, site managers, physicians, or administrative staff.
• Maintains updated LPN credentials or certification.
• Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities, contributing to performance evaluations and implementation of improvement measures.
• Maintains strict confidentiality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; additional vocational or college credits preferred.
• At least six months of experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
