Responsibilities
- Works under the direction of the Registered Nurse to assist in providing optimal nursing care to the patient.
- Integrates skills and knowledge to provide patient-centered nursing care to meet the patient needs.
- Affords assistance in the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort.
- Collaborates with the Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care.
Requirements
- Current West Virginia license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Completion of an approved practical nursing program.
- Current CPR certification.
Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
