About the role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the ambulatory setting, you’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. $5,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants with 1 year of experience and a 2-year commitment.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to deliver optimal patient care and functioning.
• Perform patient triage in person, via telephone, and through secure messages using established protocols, guidelines, and standards.
• Apply assessment and analysis skills to administer medical regimens as directed by physicians, advanced practice providers, and registered nurses.
• Delegate selected patient care tasks to others based on their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
• Collaborate with the clinic team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and stewardship.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and all healthcare team members.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care that respects the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two years of experience as an LPN; clinic setting preferred.

Pay

The pay scale for this position is $30.40 - $43.75 USD per hour. Compensation is influenced by skill set, experience, certifications, and education. If the position is union-affiliated, pay aligns with the appropriate step on the pay scale based on years of experience.

Schedule

Full-time, day shift during clinic hours.
