Description
PeaceHealth is seeking an LPN Clinic - Orthopedics for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $30.45 – $45.67. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. Hiring Bonus may be available!
Details of the Position
- Affairs patient care under supervision.
- Prepares patient for examination.
- Provides direct patient care.
- Aids provider with examination and treatment of patient as directed.
- Under the oversight of provider, may be responsible for telephone triage using age specific triage protocol books and computerized resources.
- Documents patient care in health record according to department standards.
- Obtains and conveys information to and from patients, pharmacies, and other providers as directed and supervised by a licensed provider.
- May obtain referral authorizations for treatment as directed by provider.
- Safeguards own professional effectiveness through continued education and professional development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Accredited State Board of Nursing LPN Program required.
- Minimum of 1 year preferred: clinical experience as an LPN.
- Required: Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs.
- Required: Upon Hire Licensed Practical Nurse - Alaska.
- Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support.
- Basic computer skills required including familiarity with MS Office applications.
