About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect outpatient nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and practitioner’s medical orders.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and preparing medical records
• Administering treatments, medications, and immunizations
• Performing point-of-care testing and documenting patient responses
• Collaborating on care plans
• Managing vaccine data and ensuring compliance with infection control and immunization guidelines
• Maintaining vaccine inventories
• Educating patients
• Supporting discharge procedures
• Assisting with clinic operations

Requirements

• Hawaii-licensed LPN
• BLS certification
• Skills in communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Prior nursing or clinic work experience preferred
• Proficiency in PC applications is a plus
