About the role

The Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports patient care in a clinic setting, working under supervision to document patient information, process healthcare provider recommendations, and handle administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination rooms and obtains vital signs
• Documents medical histories and updates patient records
• Processes medication orders, referrals, and diagnostic test recommendations
• Provides patient education and support, including treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions
• Schedules appointments, maintains patient documentation, manages medical supplies, and assists with medical billing and insurance claims
• Supports medical professionals during appointments and clinic visits, providing patient history information
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Diploma in Practical Nursing
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, successfully passed NC Nursing Boards, and maintain an unrestricted LPN License
• BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
