About the Role

As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You’ll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts, ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for practitioner visit; rooms patients, obtains and records vital signs and other appropriate information, such as height, weight, drug allergies, current medications, and presenting problem; chaperones and documents the patient exam, ensuring patient privacy and comfort.
• Performs, or assists with, patient care, diagnostic tests, and clinical procedures to the appropriate level of training/scope of license and established procedures; follows triage standing orders/protocols for routine nursing situations and refers complex, urgent, or emergent situations to an RN or provider.
• Assists with point-of-care testing (CLIA-Waived Tests only)/lab tests following established protocols/instructions.
• Administers patient medications per written provider order; tracks and logs medication usage per established policies; inventories counts of controlled substances.
• Documents procedures and interactions in the patient’s medical record in accordance with established procedures; enters, pends, and signs orders as appropriate.
• Organizes exam rooms, including general cleaning, upkeep, and re-stocking of supplies; prepares, cleans, and sterilizes instruments and maintains related equipment.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing (required upon hire).
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington State (required upon hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR certification (required upon hire).

Qualifications

Preferred:

• 1-3 years of LPN work experience in a clinic setting, or
• 1-3 years of acute care LPN work experience.

Pay

$28.55 - $48.43 per hour.
