The LPN will also be responsible for the safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems. Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities Prepares, educates and orients patients about/for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed by the provider to the patient. This includes monitoring and controlling the performance of the hyperbaric chamber equipment, as well as monitoring the patient's response during the session. Operates and maintains the hyperbaric chamber and other hyperbaric support oxygen systems as required. Serves as the safety director for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at the Wound Center. Leads and participates in safety program activities for the Hyperbaric Chambers. Qualifications Must have successfully completed an accredited LPN program.Must possess current LPN licensure in the State of Iowa With Departmental Support, be certified as a CHT or DMT within 36 months of hireMaintains and demonstrates competency in BLS (Basic Life Support), infections control, safety and all unit required skill review. #HotJobsCR
