About the Role

The role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care under supervision or the guidance of a registered nurse, ensuring professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or comparable experience with licensure
• Current LPN license in the state of practice, meeting all licensing requirements
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) or completion within 30 days of hire
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials may be required based on department needs
• IV certification within one year of hire (preferred)

• Standing, walking, bending, stooping
• Lifting (up to 50 pounds)
• Patient handling with assistance
