About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse shall perform services in the provision of supportive or restorative care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform supportive or restorative care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current LPN license with North Carolina State Board of Nursing.
• Participation in continuing education programs.
• Good basic knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
• Able to relate effectively to patients, their families, physicians, staff and all others using proper channels of communication.
• Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
• AHA BLS certification.
