LPN - Cardiac Care Unit

Role: Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering compassionate patient care, coordinating treatment plans, and supporting patient and family needs in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities Contribute data to patient assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate care within scope of practice.Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.Reinforce education, discharge planning, and family support throughout hospitalization.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and participate in unit-based decision-making.Mentor and precept new staff and students, and support continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from a Nursing Specialty Training Program (required).Strong interest in Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgical care preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.Willingness to learn and grow within specialized units. Additional Details: Work hours are typically 7 pm to 7:30 am, with every other weekend and holiday shifts.
