About the role
The Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports patient care in a clinic setting, working under close supervision.
Responsibilities
- Prepares examination rooms and obtains vital signs.
- Documents medical histories and updates patient records.
- Processes healthcare provider recommendations, including medication orders, referrals, and diagnostic tests.
- Provides patient education and support, explaining treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions.
- Maintains patient documentation, manages medical supplies, assists with medical billing and insurance claims, and supports medical professionals during appointments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Diploma Practical Nursing.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure, successfully passed NC Nursing Boards for LPN and maintains a current and continuous unrestricted LPN License.
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
