Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective patient and family-centered care, focusing on customer satisfaction and quality outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining a financially stable unit while promoting personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework.
• Under direction, delegate nursing tasks to non-licensed staff members.
• In conjunction with leadership, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Apply educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting of non-licensed staff and/or students.

Requirements

• Diploma in Licensed Practical Nursing (Required).
• Current LPN license (Required).
• One year of experience in an acute care setting (Desired).
