About the role
This is a field-based role within BayCare Behavioral Health in New Port Richey, Pasco County.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating to achieve the goals of nursing practice.
- Familiar with medical clearance guidelines and acts as the liaison with physicians and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners.
- Coordination and completion of all admissions in a timely manner, including nurse-to-nurse reports, triages, treatment plans, medication management and related documentation.
- Completion of tasks as assigned by the RN charge nurse.
Requirements
- LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- High School or Equivalent Education
- Associates in Nursing - preferred
- 1 year behavioral health experience preferred
- 1 year in nursing experience preferred
