LPN - Behavioral Health

About the role

This is a field-based role within BayCare Behavioral Health in New Port Richey, Pasco County.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating to achieve the goals of nursing practice.
• Familiar with medical clearance guidelines and acts as the liaison with physicians and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners.
• Coordination and completion of all admissions in a timely manner, including nurse-to-nurse reports, triages, treatment plans, medication management and related documentation.
• Completion of tasks as assigned by the RN charge nurse.

Requirements

• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• High School or Equivalent Education
• Associates in Nursing - preferred
• 1 year behavioral health experience preferred
• 1 year in nursing experience preferred
